Violin and Piano
Teresa is a violin, piano, and MusicFunTime instructor from San Antonio, Texas. Beginning on piano in kindergarten, her passion for making music and learning different instruments grew over the years. At age ten, she tried out violin in her school's music class and hasn't put it down since! While her background in violin is primarily classical where she is experienced in ensemble work such as symphonic orchestras and string quartet, she has also performed in musicals, opera, mariachi, and other freelance work. This has
provided the opportunity to perform in four different countries, lead workshops, and share what she learned with others.

As a teen, she graduated from the North East School of the Arts majoring in Instrumental Music. This influenced her to turn her passion into a career as she is currently pursuing a bachelor’s in Music Therapy at Arizona State University. Here, she has had the opportunity to provide music therapy with
populations that include developmental disabilities, addiction rehabilitation, children requiring crisis therapy, and vision impairments.

Outside of teaching, she works as a Registered Behavior Technician providing ABA therapy to children on the autism spectrum. When she is not working, you can find her cooking, spending time with friends, and taking her pet pug on adventures.
