Piano and Keyboard
Nicholas is a pianist and organist. He has been making music since he was 8 years old, when he joined the Boys Choir at St. Paul's Episcopal Cathedral in his hometown of San Diego, California. Appointed as the assistant organist there at the age of 16, he both accompanied and conducted the choirs there for his two year appointment.
He attended the Eastman School of Music for his Bachelors, where he spent considerable time on all types of keyboard music: organ, harpsichord, clavichord and, of course, piano! He earned a Masters in Music and a Performer's Diploma at Southern Methodist University. He is completing his Doctorate of Music at Arizona State University, and is the organist at Christ Church of the Ascension Episcopal in Paradise Valley.
Nicholas loves to share his enthusiasm for music with everyone, from beginning students to advanced, and hopes to help everyone make progress on their own musical path.
