Kim Steele teaches beginning to advanced guitar (nylon string, steel string, electric, lead and rhythm), as well as beginning to intermediate electric bass and ukulele. Kim has 25 years of writing, recording and performing experience and has her own band, Reign Down. Over the years, she has performed – and continues to play – metal, punk, R&B, Country, Classic Rock, Latin, Modern Worship/Contemporary Christian, Acoustic/Folk, Classical and Modern Jazz.
Kim received her degree in Commercial Music, which covered all aspects of modern performing, arranging and recording, with an emphasis in guitar. She has taught general music classes in K-8 schools as well as both private and group lessons, making her well-rounded and able to teach a wide range of ages, starting with the very young. Kim has a special love of teaching very young children to play guitar.
