Pianist, songwriter, arranger, and producer, Daniel Gutierrez has had his hand in everything from Musical Theater to CCM to Latin Jazz. As a performer in Gospel music he has accompanied Israel Houghton, Martha Munizzi, Ricardo Sanchez and BJ Putnam as well as Sam Kenoly and son of legendary worship leader Ron Kenoly and member of the Kenoly Brothers. As a veteran of the cover band scene, Daniel spent several years performing with the Rojas Band, eventually backing up Pete Escovedo and R&B super-producer Prince “Black Magic” Damons. While still a college student, he received the Award of Meritorious Achievement from the Kennedy Center for his work as Music Director/Composer for the Nilo Cruz play, Lorca in a Green Dress. He would later complete his education in Classical Liberal Arts from Saint Mary’s College of California.
Daniel is currently on staff as a musician at Kingdom in the Valley Christian Church and continues to produce music out of his West Valley studio.
