“As a pianist, music is something I always wanted to be a part of my children’s life. When my oldest turned seven, I tried taking her to piano lessons at someone’s house, but with three smaller children struggling to keep quiet while we waited, it was somewhat of a nightmare! I found Prestige Music Academy and instantly was on board, based solely on the fact that they had a waiting room (with toys!) to occupy my younger children. But I soon realized what a treasure we’d found. We’ve been there three years and I’ve had three of my kids take lessons. The teachers we’ve had have all been very professional, talented and committed. We’ve formed friendships with many of them that have continued to last despite them moving or changing jobs. One even continues to mentor my daughter from her new home across the country! One of our favorite aspects of Prestige is the formal recital held twice a year. The venue is beautiful and it gives my kids an opportunity to grow that they wouldn’t otherwise have from a local teacher. We love it, and they really look forward to participating. Jennifer, the director of Prestige (and an incredible singer) has gone above and beyond to encourage my children in their music. It is clear how deeply she cares for all of her clients, which is evident in the way she runs her business. We will be at Prestige for many years to come! ”
“When we moved away from the neighborhood, we tried several other music schools for our kids, but none was as classy, well-run, or focused on the good of our kids as Prestige Music Academy. So, we decided to go back to Prestige. We drive a long way to bring our kids to Prestige, but we think it’s worth it.”
My son, Reece and I were referred to Prestige Music Academy (“PMA”) by a friend over two years ago and absolutely love it!
The owners of PMA are a small, professional family, willing to accommodate and very friendly. PMA has a talented staff of instructors. Reece came to PMA with very little previous guitar instruction and has become quite proficient at theory, jamming, chords and note reading. Reece loves his instructor, Steve. Steve is incredibly talented and has the ability to instruct and communicate well not only with the student, but the parent, all while making learning fun!
In Reece’s words, “I have learned countless songs by numerous bands from Steve. In addition to learning songs, chords and notes, the recitals have taught me to perform on stage allowing everyone to see how far I’ve come. Although I still get nervous I go up and do my best. I plan to stay at PMA!”
