Houston
Houston is an active performer and teacher in the Phoenix area. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from Arizona State University in 2016. He has since continued his study of the piano independently to elevate his abilities as a performer and teacher. In addition to his music performance and teaching, Houston regularly serves as an adjudicator for local music festivals and competitions in Phoenix.
Houston’s students span a wide range of ages, ability levels, and interests. They are known for their dedicated practice and performances in recitals. Some of his students participate in the Arizona Study Program and extracurricular music evaluations as well.
Houston believes that everyone is capable of learning how to play the piano with the proper instruction. Houston pushes his students with high aspirations and encourages them to excel in their studies. He is honored every day to see his students discover why they love music.
